Anti-Aging Medicine

The current health care trend is more than in the past due to the ease of access to health information and the continuous advancement of medical technology, which has resulted in people living longer. Therefore, many countries have an increasing elderly population. Therefore, to have good health in old age, it must start before entering old age in order to have a good quality of life in the later stages of life. Therefore, the saying "No disease is the greatest fortune" will be true depending on our daily lifestyle. No disease means knowing how to prevent diseases that will occur, similar to getting vaccinated to prevent diseases. The most obvious advantage of disease prevention is that the cost of disease prevention will definitely be cheaper than the cost of medical treatment. The most effective self-care method that is currently popular is the approach of the science that we call Anti-aging medicine. "Anti-aging medicine" is a branch of medicine that uses methods to promote and prevent diseases (Preventive medicine) by focusing on changing behaviors in life, such as eating, exercising, sleeping, etc., to slow down our bodies from deteriorating prematurely, which we cannot avoid. But it can slow down the deterioration. That is considered the best thing. Simply put, how to age slowly and allow us to do the activities we want for the longest time.

What is the meaning of anti-aging medicine?
Some people may think that it is only about beauty and various surgeries to make our skin look younger. In fact, anti-aging medicine is a medical branch that focuses on preventing and taking care of biochemical substances in the blood, such as blood sugar levels, blood fats, hormones, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, to be at the best level. It makes the body feel more energetic, refreshed, and energetic, reduces accumulated fat, helps to sleep better, improves the immune system, and balances hormones. It emphasizes that everyone should know how to observe themselves because no one knows us better than ourselves.

The main principle of anti-aging medicine is to prevent disease before it occurs, making our bodies less likely to get sick and deteriorate more slowly, so that we have a good quality of life as we get older, similar to the principle of public health that tells us to observe ourselves with the "5 A's: exercise, food, emotions, air, and excrement." Therefore, the simple principles of anti-aging medicine are as follows:
1. Prevent before disease occurs, including treatment and care for chronic illnesses caused by aging. Reduce the chance of complications from other diseases
2. Strengthen your health to be strong, meaning that all systems in the body are in a balanced state, working efficiently.
3. Having a long and quality life, both physical and mental health are of good quality, resulting in a good overall quality of life.

What causes physical deterioration? And how can we slow down deterioration?
Our body, deterioration can occur from the age of 25-30 years. That means we may start to have small symptoms that signal deterioration. It may not be a serious disease, just feeling that the body is not the same, such as a wound that heals slower than before, falling down, tripping more easily, etc. Physical deterioration also depends on genetics and each person's lifestyle, such as eating junk food, fried food, sweets, sweet drinks, carbonated drinks, drinking less water, not eating vegetables and fruits, sleeping late, smoking, drinking alcohol, not exercising, etc., causing the body to deteriorate faster. Therefore, taking care of the body to deteriorate more slowly can be divided into 2 methods as follows:
1. External care, which is to make the skin and face look younger than your age. We can use various cosmetic products, procedures such as laser, ultrasound waves to lift and tighten the skin. Botox injections to reduce wrinkles, liposuction, and hair transplants, etc.
2. Internal care, which is a method to improve the body from the inside out and is more sustainable than external care, with cooperation from ourselves and a specialist in anti-aging medicine to provide assistance and advice. To start taking care of the body from the inside out, we must undergo a physical examination by a doctor to see what immunity our body has and what diseases it is at risk of. Then, we will enter the process of taking care of the body as a whole to achieve the most balance. Therefore, taking medicine or supplements, vitamins to nourish the body are our own special formulas. We cannot share them with others. We also receive advice on changing other behaviors in our daily lives to enter the anti-aging process completely.

Therefore, anti-aging medicine should start when our body is not deteriorating. This will allow us to slow down deterioration as slowly as possible. However, starting is never too late. Start today for a better quality of life in the future.
